Ingredients:

  • Small Onions (Shallots)
  • Garlic
  • Mustard Seeds
  • Cumin Seeds
  • Fenugreek Seeds
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Salt
  • Castor Oil
  • Urad Dal
  • Curry Leaves
  • Red Chili powder
  • Asafoetida (Hing)

Usage instruction:

“For Tempering (Thalipu):

  1. Heat 1-2 teaspoons of oil in a pan.
  2. Add a small portion of Vengaya Thalipu Vadagam and sauté until it releases its rich aroma.
  3. Use this seasoning as a base for preparing curries, kuzhambu, sambar, or rosam to add a traditional South Indian flavor.”
